Operations Systems Analyst

Hulk Moving requires an Operations Systems Analyst to apply data analysis, systems modeling, and process optimization methods to improve Hulk Moving’s logistics and junk removal operations. The role ensures that truck routing, scheduling, and disposal workflows are cost-effective, environmentally responsible, and scalable to support the company’s growth and service quality. This position reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with dispatchers, field supervisors, and senior management to evaluate and optimize moving and junk removal processes.

Job Duties

  • ​Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to truck routes, disposal site selection, recycling processes, customer demand, and labor allocation.

  • Develop and apply mathematical models to optimize scheduling, routing efficiency, fuel consumption, and disposal/recycling logistics.

  • Design and implement decision-support tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to improve operational visibility and real-time performance tracking.

  • Evaluate existing workflows in moving, hauling, and junk removal services to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

  • Support the integration and ongoing use of operations management and dispatching software to ensure accurate scheduling, billing, and customer service coordination.

  • Prepare reports and presentations that summarize operational performance, cost trends, and efficiency metrics for management decision-making.

  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and monitor KPIs measuring productivity, turnaround time, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Research, or a relevant engineering degree is required; 12 months prior experience as an Operations Systems Analyst, Operations Manager, or similar occupation in operations or logistics; proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL / Amazon Redshift.
